It's sometimes a little scary/violent for the little ones but I'd say it's ok from 5 and up. An intelligent and entertaining series, not to mention it's visually very cool.
Throughout the series you'll follow a cast of attaching characters in their Quest to defeat the Fire Lord and restore peace in the world. The quality of animation is very good for a series with some ups and downs but overall very good. Humor, adventure, mystery, great character and background design all driven by a very original storyline make for great entertainment. Aang awakens to find the group disguised as Fire Nation soldiers heading West on a Fire Nation ship, while Zuko has been restored to his position as crown.
After watching the 2 previous books of the series (Water and Earth) I absolutely wanted to watch the whole series again, as I had caught it on TV although I missed some episodes and wanted to watch them all.
